What I've found in my years of educational leadership is that few parents know how to expect and receive the best from their child (ren) and school system. Let's face it, who has ever taken a class in "Getting the best out of your child and her/his school 101"? Like other successes, with a little assistance, you can get the best from your child's educational experience, while bringing out the very best in her/him. Parents who are not ideally involved in their child's educational journey never witness the potential their child has.
